The Offshore Renewable Energy Sustainability Alliance, known as ORESA, is a dedicated programme designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) bridge critical gaps in regulations, material requirements, and investor business cases. By uniting industry players, local authorities, and research centres across North-West Europe, ORESA provides a platform for innovators to navigate the complex offshore energy landscape.ย
Our first accelerator journey at the Dutch Hub showcased the transformative impact of this network on companies across the supply chain, from manufacturing to environmental services. In this video, our first cohort of innovators from the Dutch Hub share how the ORESA journey has transformed their technical and commercial strategies:
๐ Connecting Developers & Policy: Francesco Ferrari (WECO) highlights how ORESA offers a vital point of connection between technology developers and policymakers to move the sector forward.ย
๐ Strategic Tender Positioning: Steinar Henskes (Aerosense) explains how the programme provided the knowledge needed to prepare for future sustainability tenders and position his company for large-scale wind projects.ย
๐ Refining Market Approach: Pablo Besquin (Oceanus International) discusses how his company switched to a phased promotion approach to better integrate their nature-inclusive designs with offshore wind farms.ย
๐ค Expert Collaboration: Erwin Meijboom (Slow Mill Wave Power) shares how the network encouraged his team to reach out to experts to develop innovative ecological anchor systems.ย
Whether you are in manufacturing, environmental services, or nature-inclusive design, ORESA is built to help your business scale its impact.ย
